My parents were served in Lisbon, Portugal. I've lived there for 2 years. It was such a beautiful city to live in. I was only living 10 mins away from the Beach just from walking. I went to school at Carlucci American International School of Lisbon. I made new friends in Portugal. I still keep close contact with most of them since I've left Portugal
Down below is a little more information that I wanted to share with you...

"I've got two places I like to be. Portugal is one." - Cliff Richard
Portugal was a Great Place to live, a place to make memories, the reason why I'm doing this blog to show you what its like to live in a different place. Portugal is a Great Place to experience tourist. The culture is way different than America...
Portugal Tradition:
On Christmas Eve Portuguese families would gather around the Christmas tree and the Crèche to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Catholicism is the main religion in Portugal. Thus, the Crèche is a very important part of the celebration. Traditionally, children are in charge of collecting materials for the Crèche.
Portugal Food:
A common Portuguese soup is caldo verde, which is made with potato, shredded collard greens, and chunks of chouriço (a spicy Portuguese sausage). Among fishrecipes, salted cod (bacalhau) dishes are pervasive. The most typical desserts are arroz doce (rice pudding decorated with cinnamon) and caramel custard.
